This one feels better. The compass blends better with the title. Then your eyes can be drswn to the photos without being distracted by what's up in the top right corner. Great layout! Love how you let the waterfall photo take up the whole length of the page.
Thanks Lisa, I tend to agree, I might reduce the opacity of the compass just a bit so it blends better, although I am sad to loose the big cat tracks since they were such a part of the hike...hmmmm
